Steve Rowsell is the founder of procurement consultant RowsellWright and – with 30 years’ experience in major project delivery – has also held senior roles at the Highways Agency and with Crossrail.

Roy Brannen took over as chief executive of Transport Scotland in 2015, having held a number of different positions in the organisation since joining the Scottish Government 20 years ago.

Associate laureates have also been named as Mott MacDonald’s Katherine Jackson MCIHT and Kier Highways’ Farheen Ahmed MCIHT, who have demonstrated attributes that set them apart as future industry leaders.

All 2019 laureates and associate laureates will be honoured at a Laureates Awards Dinner which takes place on 6 November, the opening day of the Highways UK show at Birmingham’s NEC. For more details visit highways-uk.com
