Transport for London (TfL) has published its finalised London Cycle Design Standards. The design guide has 8 Chapters:  Design requirements, Tools and Techniques, Cycle friendly streets and space, cycle lanes and tracks, Junctions and crossings, Signs and Marking, Construction including surfacing and Cycle Parking.

The best practice guidelines published for London are also designed to be transferable to outside of London. The Standards, supported by case studies, were developed through consultation and analysis of best practice from around the world.
