Highways UK returns to the NEC near Birmingham for a fifth year on 6 and 7 November, with proceedings split into five themes.

They are ‘big thinking’, ‘road owner hubs’, ‘intelligent infrastructure’, ‘civil infrastructure’ and ‘sustainability and people’. The event will include a CIHT Hub, featuring a presentation from President Martin Tugwell and covering topics including better planning for better transport, professional development and local highway funding and governance.

Headline speakers include Jim O’Sullivan of Highways England, Tricia Hayes of the Department for Transport and Roy Brannen of Transport Scotland.
