On the 25th November the HM Treasury will produce the Comprehensive Spending Review, which is likely to include further cuts to local authority budgets. Therefore, a coalition of road safety and road user groups, including CIHT and led by the National Road Safety Committee, have produced Making Road Safety Count. This document is designed to demonstrate the value of providing effective road safety services and to encourage Local Authorities to protect road safety spending, as much as possible, in the current economic climate.
The report Making Road Safety Count 2015 is available here.
