In 2015 CIHT’s 18 UK Branches were restructured to 12 Regions to match the boundaries of the Devolved Nations and the English Regions.

Following the AGM the Colas Presentation Competition was held for Young Professionals.
The calibre of presentations was extremely high from all six competitors. We heard from a range of topics which captivated the judges from start to finish.
It was an intensely fought battle between the Young Engineers with the judges having the inordinately difficult task of splitting the presentations. The eventual winner was Kareem Abusmeihah with his presentation on The Strengthening of The Bridge over the River Don at Oughtibridge, Sheffield.
Our congratulations go to Kareem on his success.
