The Midlands Branch Young Professional Paper Competion was held on the 24th September 2013.

The calibre of presentations was extremely high from all competitors. We heard from a range of topics including safety engineering, pavement engineering, asset modelling & improvements to train reliability, which captivated the judges from start to finish.

It was an intensely fought battle between the Young Engineers with the judges having the inordinately difficult task of splitting the presentations. The eventual winner by a single point was Bryant Le with his presentation on asset modelling.
