The Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (CIHT) has received a further 5 year approval of its Engineering Council Licence.

 

Professional qualifications can significantly improve career prospects, lead to higher earning potential and provide professional credibility. This is achieved by registration with the Engineering Council – via membership of professional engineering institution, such as CIHT.

 

The 5 year extension was granted to CIHT following a licence review by the Engineering Council. The Engineering Council is the UK regulatory body for the engineering profession. They hold the national registers of Engineering Technicians (EngTech), Incorporated Engineers (IEng), Chartered Engineers (CEng) and Information and Communications Technology Technicians (ICTTech).

 

CIHT’s licence grants it the ability to recommend members to join the Engineering Council register as Engineering Technicians (EngTech), Incorporated Engineers (IEng), and Chartered Engineers (CEng) once they have demonstrated the required professional competences and commitment.

 

CIHT said:
