On 13 January 2015 the House of Commons debated and approved the national policy statement for national networks. The statement aims to clarify the requirements needed for the development of major schemes.
CIHT welcomes the delivery of the National Policy Statement, but still have concerns that the final statement does not go far enough to address the integration of local networks and all transport modes.
