The National Centre for Accessible Transport (ncat) is undertaking a research project to understand how local governments across the UK carry out their responsibilities to help disabled people use local transport services and infrastructure.
They have asked the CIHT to promote a survey which can be accessed via the link below (in the CIHT Connect members' area). The survey asks about your experiences, roles and responsibilities in making the transport system more accessible for disabled people as a transport practitioner working in local government. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete. You will be offered the chance to enter a prize draw for one of five shopping vouchers worth £50 each.
In addition to the survey, the research team will be holding online focus groups.
