Environmental issues are increasingly significant in transportation network management and operations.
This note discusses some of the environmental aspects of road network management, in particular local air quality, greenhouse gases (especially CO2), and noise, with the objective of raising awareness of some of the issues amongst policy makers and practitioners. The note can be found here.
