CIHT is delighted to congratulate the nine transport planners who successfully passed their Transport Planning Professional (TPP) Reviews in May 2025, marking a major milestone in their careers. These individuals have demonstrated exceptional knowledge, experience, and commitment to the field of transport planning and are now eligible to be professionally registered as Chartered Transport Planning Professionals (CTPPs).

The Transport Planning Professional (TPP) qualification, jointly awarded by CIHT and the Transport Planning Society (TPS), is the only professional qualification that recognises the competence of transport planners. Candidates undergo a rigorous assessment process, including a Portfolio of Evidence and a Professional Review interview, to demonstrate their breadth and depth of expertise.

We are especially pleased to highlight Kristen Layne of WSP, who was nominated for the Outstanding Candidate at Professional Review Award, impressing reviewers with her exceptional breadth of experience, confident presentation style, and innovative approaches to transport planning challenges.
