This month the Government launched its Pothole Review, as part of the £6m Highways Maintenance Efficiency Programme.
The Review provides advice on how to tackle the problem of potholes, offering guidance on not just the best course of action to fix them but also how to prevent them from occurring in the first place.
CIHT Senior Policy Officer, Justin Ward, caught up with Matthew Lugg who chaired the Project Board for the Review, to gain an insight into some of the key recommendations of the publication and to find out how the industry can take forward the findings from the Review.
