Philip Hammond 
Philip Hammond

Philip Hammond has been appointed Chancellor of the Exchequer. He was foreign secretary under David Cameron from 2014 to 2016, having previously served as defence and transport secretaries. He replaces George Osborne. Mr Hammond campaigned to remain in the referendum. He now has the job of steering Britain's economy through the post-Brexit times ahead.

Chris Grayling has been appointed Secretary of State for Transport by Theresa May.  Mr Grayling, who has been Leader of the House of Commons since the 2015 general election, will oversee Heathrow Expansion and the future of the HS2 rail line.  He previously served as the Justice Secretary from 2012, and before that was a junior minister at various departments.
