CIHT would like to extend its warm congratulations to CIHT Fellow Peter Hendy and CIHT Member Professor Alan Woodside on their recognition in the Queen’s New Year Honours List.
 
CIHT Fellow, Peter Hendy, who is London’s Transport Commissioner, was awarded a Knighthood for his for services to transport and the community.
 
CIHT Member, Alan Woodside, who is a Professor of Engineering at the University of Ulster and is a past Chairman of CIHT’s Northern Ireland Branch, received an OBE for his services to higher education and highway engineering in Northern Ireland.
