Transport professionals are invited to attend a webinar marking one year since the launch of the Department for Transport's (DfT) Connectivity Tool.
The Connectivity Tool helps users assess how well people can access key destinations and services by different modes of transport. Designed to support evidence-based transport planning and decision-making, the tool provides valuable insights into connectivity and accessibility, helping practitioners understand how transport networks serve communities and identify opportunities for improvement.
To mark the tool's first anniversary, members of DfT’s Connectivity Tool Team will share insights from the project's first year, provide updates on recent developments, and discuss future plans for the platform.
The webinars will include:
Two identical sessions are available, and attendees only need to register for one:
Both webinars will take place online via Microsoft Teams and are open to anyone who uses the Connectivity Tool or is interested in learning more about its capabilities.
The sessions offer a valuable opportunity for transport planners, highway engineers, local authority officers, consultants and other transport professionals to hear directly from the project team and ask questions about the tool's development and future direction.
Register here to secure your place.
If you have questions in advance of the webinar or would like to request access to the Connectivity Tool, please contact the team at connectivity@dft.gov.uk
