CIHT has revealed which companies, projects and initiatives have successfully made the shortlist for its prestigious annual awards ceremony which takes place in just over two months’ time.

The CIHT Awards recognise best practice in the highways and transportation industry and will this year be presented at London’s Troxy venue on 15 June.

The Institution’s Director of Communications Daniel Isichei commented: “We would like to thank everyone who entered this year’s CIHT Awards. We received over 150 submissions and the overall quality of the applications was once again extremely high.”

This year there are 14 awards categories including three new awards for Diversity & Inclusion, Inclusive Transportation and Reducing Street Clutter. The event will also see two individuals receive the Inspirational Leadership Award and the Young Professional Award.

Daniel Isichei added: “There are some really strong entries this year and we look forward to announcing the winners at our awards event in June. Both the judging panel and CIHT would like to thank everyone who has submitted an entry and we hope they will consider entering the CIHT Awards in 2018.”
