A Review of the Resilience of the Transport Networks to Extreme Weather Events has been published today by the Department for Transport. The report was commissioned following the extreme weather of the 2013/14 winter.

The report outlines the findings and makes more than 60 recommendations ranging from short-term action on communications and improved maintenance to longer-term consideration of the economic and legal framework.
