The Scotland region were represented by Kelvin Clarke (Chair), Nicky Laird (Young Professional Network Chair), Pamela Gidney (Events Programme Co-ordinator) and Kostas Vavatsoulas (Recruitment Officer).

The conference provided the opportunity for different regions to come together and share experiences as well as hear from Sue Percy (Chief Executive), Martin Tugwell (President) and the wider Britannia Walk team about the current work of the Institution, future plans and challenges looking ahead in uncertain times. 

Presentations on the day also included an insight given by Pamela on how we organise and run the events programme in Scotland via a sub-group formed from the wider Committee and some of the other local ‘tools’ developed to help manage the organisation of the programme.

The day ended on a high for the region with Scotland winning the 2019 Regional Events Programme award! This is a great success for the region and recognition of collective efforts in the year to put on an active and varied events programme. Thanks to all who have contributed from organising events to speaking - you know who you are - and everyone who also supports the programme by coming along to the events.
