The South West held their annual awards at the Black Tie Dinner on Thursday 25 February. All categories were heavily contested with strong applications from a number of organisations.

The results of the awards are listed below. Well done to all those shortlisted and to the Winners.

The shortlisted awards were:

Innovation Award -

Winner: iTree Eco System Software (Kier, Highways England, Treeconomics, Evans and Associates)

Shortlisted:

Flood Protection Gates (Somerset County Council / Skanska),

M5 Piffs Elm Thaumasite Works (Skanska) 

Peter Swain Emerging Professional of the Year Award

Winner: Ed Maguire (Cormac Solutions Ltd)

Shortlisted:

Jonathan Bailey (PBA)

Sophie Richards (Skanska) 

Large Transportation Project

Winner: South Devon Highway (Devon County Council / Torbay Council / WSP|PB, Galliford Try)

Shortlisted:

Laira Rail Bridge (Plymouth City Council / South West Highways)

Hamworthy Park Footbridge (Borough of Poole / Mouchel)

Carluddon Road Improvements (Cormac Solutions / Cornwall Council)
