The Transport Infrastructure Skills Strategy recommended the setting up of an employer led Transport Apprenticeship Taskforce to deliver its work. The Department for Transport has today launched this taskforce with the aim of sharing best practice in creating rewarding apprenticeships and a diverse workforce.

CIHT is supportive of this new taskforce and took part in the seminar to celebrate this launch and features in the Transport Infrastructure Skills Strategy. CIHT will continue to work with the Department for Transport and industry stakeholders on this important initiative.
