Submissions for the 2014 CIHT Awards are set to close in just over three weeks.
This year’s ceremony is to be held on Wednesday 11 June at The Royal Courts of Justice. The closing date for receipt of entries is 5pm on Friday 7 March.
The annual awards are an opportunity to recognise the achievements of those working in the transport sector to promote professionalism and best practice to a wider audience.
CIHT’s Director of Policy & Technical Affairs Andrew Hugill said: “We are looking forward to receiving a large range of high quality submissions and to build on the success of last year’s fantastic event.”
There are 12 categories for which nominations are welcome:
• CIHT/Costain Effective Partnerships Award
• CIHT/Lafarge Tarmac Health & Safety at Work Award
• CIHT/Ringway Innovation Award
• CIHT/Gatwick Airport Major Projects Award
• CIHT/EM Highway Services Streets Award
• CIHT/John Smart Road Safety Award
• CIHT Sustainability Award
• CIHT/Colas Technological Application Award
• CIHT/VINCI Concessions Highway Asset Management Award
• CIHT Employer Award for Excellence in Skills Development
• CIHT/Department for Transport Reducing Sign Clutter Award
• CIHT Young Professional Award
Sponsorship is sought for both the Sustainability and Excellence in Skills Development categories.
