Call for contributions
In April next year over 11,700 transport and traffic industry professionals will attend the biennialTraffex exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham. And for the first time ITS (UK) and the IHT (Institution ofHighways & Transportation) will be organising a three day seminar programme to be held in a purpose built seminar theatre on the exhibition floor.
The aim of the Traffex seminars is to promote best practice, share practical case studies and to stimulate debate on topical transport issues. Each session will be chaired by a high profile industry figure, and will last approx one hour; presenters must be prepared to speak for 20 minutes followed by 5 minutes of Q & A.
The Traffex seminar committee invites you to submit a 50-word synopsis, along with the author name, speaker profile, colour photograph, and the subject of the presentation by Thursday 5th February 2009.
Successful papers will be made available to all Traffex visitors at
www.traffex.com for three months after the event.
