Transport Scotland launched their Transport Appraisal and Modelling in Scotland User Survey this month and would like to invite all transport professionals with a role in planning for the future of transport, who use Scottish Transport Appraisal Guidance (STAG) and/or utilise the suite of transport models and data, to respond to the survey.

The aim of the User Survey is to consider the current strengths of STAG and the related areas of modelling and data and where these could be improved, revised or further research is necessary. This is with the purpose to ensure they continue to be credible and fit for purpose. The feedback gathered will also be used to help align the appraisal guidance with and support the delivery of the vision for transport in Scotland as set out in the draft successor National Transport Strategy (NTS2).

The User Survey and response from can be found at Transport Appraisal & Modelling in Scotland User Survey.

All completed responses should be submitted using the User Survey response form and returned to SCOT-TAG_Mailbox@gov.scot by Friday 22nd November 2019. Please don’t hesitate to contact SCOT-TAG_Mailbox@gov.scot with any queries about the User Survey.
