Transport for Greater Manchester are currently working in conjunction with Manchester's newly appointed Night Time Economy Adviser and the Mayor of Manchester to understand how transport could have an impact on the development of the night time economy across the region.

Launched in late August, the “Transport and the Night Time Economy” survey is aimed at exploring issues that relate to how the region can develop its night time economy, both for those socialising and those that work in the 24-hour economy.

Transport has frequently been highlighted as an important factor in supporting the night time economy and therefore the survey aims to find out how residents travel around Manchester between 18:00 and 6:00 and understand how transport impacts those people who want to make the most of the areas night time economy. If you live or work in the region and would like to take part, the survey can be found here.

The survey closes on Sunday 13 October 2019.
