CIHT is holding an event to highlight some of the successful work carried out by the Total Transport Pilots; understanding the cross-sector integrated approach to the delivery of transport services in these areas.

 

Delegates will hear about some of the successful pilot schemes and gain an insight into some of the innovative thinking carried out by those schemes and how these could be transferred across the country.

The event will also explore how these might be taken forward in light of the Bus Services Bill.

This event is FREE for CIHT members and public sector employees.

 

In January 2015 the Government launched the Total Transport pilot fund.  Local authorities in England were able to bid for resources to implement a cross-sector integrated approach to the delivery of transport services, including health, higher education and operators.

CIHT with Campaign for Better Transport (CBT) have played a supporting role on the Governance Board of the Network Northamptonshire Total Transport Pilot.
