With the Highways and Transportation sector coming under constant pressure to demonstrate efficiencies and cost savings, the proactive management of a mobile workforce becomes an essential ingredient to an effective highways maintenance organisation.
On Tuesday 4th November, Causeway, in association with Eurovia, demonstrated to the CIHT Thames & Chilterns Branch how through the use of integrated mobile, telematics and scheduling software, highways maintenance organisations are able to increase the productivity of their workforce improving both the output and quality of the services they provide. The evening focused on workforce optimisation through 'smarter working' and the devlivery of better service provision and information.
The presentation team comprised Juan Simpson, Senior Principle Consultant, and David May, Senior Solutions Consultant, from Causeway and Eurovia Group's ICT Director Ian Slesser, compared by our very own Bob Pizzey. Presentations were followed by a lively Q&A session.
Causeway is a software solutions and technology company focused on promoting innovation within the Highways sector helping organisations to improve their delivery of highways maintenance services within the UK and Australia. For more information please visit: http://causeway.com.
