The overall role of the Honorary Treasurer is to maintain an overview of CIHT West Midland’s financial affairs to ensure its viability and that the proper financial records and procedures are maintained. You’ll complete regular financial reporting; ensure CIHT West Midland’s complies with the relevant regulations through effective administration and guarantee the proper investment of CIHT funds. You will need good strategic vision; independent judgement and some financial experience would be advantageous.
The overall role of the Social Media Officer is to lead on social media strategy for CIHT West Midlands. You’ll coordinate CIHT West Midlands’ social media activity and have a watching brief on other social media activity relevant to highways and transportation in the West Midlands. You will need a good understanding and experience of social media to ensure that all CIHT West Midlands’ social media presences are aligned.
The overall role of the University Liaison Officer is to coordinate the CIHT West Midlands involvement with multiple higher educational institutions. You’ll be responsible in ensuring proper communication as well as cooperation between institutions, coordinate activities and work towards the achievement of common goals. You will need good communications skills and the ability to build rapport.
