130619_CIHT-Awards_224Excellence in transportation was honoured last Thursday at the eighth annual CIHT Awards, held at Madame Tussauds in London. Industry commentator Christian Wolmar announced the winners to an audience of 380 members, guests and nominees. Certificates were presented by CIHT President David Anderson.

Olympic Delivery Authority’s director of transport Hugh Sumner received the CIHT Institution Award and WSP associate director Andrew Moseley of the Yorkshire & Humberside Branch was named CIHT Young Transportation Professional of the Year. Winners of 11 award categories are listed below:
