Last year, we reached a significant milestone of 1 million women working in core STEM in the UK. To recognise the vital contribution women are making, and to further build community during this difficult time, WISE are asking you to help put a personal face to the million.
Through the 1 of the Million Campaign, WISE invite you to share photos of the women working in STEM - at any level and in any role, sector or part of the UK - to show that STEM is for everyone. WISE especially encourage you to share the stories of women you know – both in your organisation and beyond – whose work is directly related to the fight against Covid-19. WISE ask that you encourage these women to send us a selfie with our campaign placard and to share why they’re proud to be 1 of the million.
WISE will share these photos and stories to recognise the women working in STEM across the UK and showing other women and girls that they should consider careers in STEM too.
