At this early stage as we get to grips with new working conditions and realities this was the first in a series of surveys to help us understand our members needs and enhance our value to them.
As the UK government-imposed measures to tackle the spread of coronavirus, CIHT conducted an initial survey of its membership to capture insight and perception of the impact of the virus. The aim of the survey was to gain an understanding of the sector’s immediate response to the outbreak and how CIHT can support its membership.
Key findings
The survey results highlight concerns about the effects of the immediate response to the pandemic on job security and day-to-day operations of companies operating in the sector. It also highlights how the sector may change as a result and looks to the future recovering from the pandemic.
CIHT is using the information provided by our members to help shape the messages we take to government and the wider sector and our future work in this area. As a result of this survey we have been able to:
