Skills for life

The theme for National Apprenticeship Week 2023 is "Skills for Life"; reflecting on how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career, and businesses to develop a talented workforce that is equipped with future-ready skills.

Why choose an apprenticeship in highways and transportation?

Transport is part of everyone’s lives; it connects communities and supports the economy. The highways and transportation industry offers an interesting and exciting range of opportunities that allow you to get involved in all aspects of the building, maintenance, operation, design and planning of transport networks.

Work - Earn - Learn - Develop - Progress

An apprenticeship is a great way of learning new skills, networking, gaining valuable work experience and getting qualified all while earning a salary. You can work, earn and learn all at the same time!
