The Union Chain Bridge is no ordinary structure; it’s the oldest vehicular suspension bridge in the world that is still in use and an important link between England and Scotland. For over two centuries it has carried people, goods, and stories across the River Tweed. Time however had taken its toll, so the bridge needed careful, expert restoration.
