Nominated Members - Emerging Professionals and Associates

CIHT Council nominations for 2026/27 are now open! To put yourself forward you need to complete a nomination form that involves a career profile including your Professional Affiliations, Education & Qualifications, Past and Present Service to the Institution and a Personal Statement.

Nominated Member: Four nominated member vacancies on Council for 2026/27 will be allocated to Emerging Professionals and two nominated member vacancies will be allocated to Associate members. You can complete your nomination form below by 20 February 2026.

If you wish to submit an application for a Nominated Member of the CIHT Council please contact governance@ciht.org.uk.

Please include the following information on your application:

  • Full Name
  • CIHT Membership Level
  • Job title and Employer
  • List the professional qualifications, academic qualifications and any other other honours you hold with dates
  • List with dates any support you have provided to CIHT such as - CIHT Regions (include posts held), membership of boards/panels, authorship of technical articles, acting as a reviewer or similar, previous Council experience, and any CIHT awards received
  • Tell us about yourself and your professional background, including why you want to be a Council member (max. 150 words)
  • How will your particular skills and experience benefit Council? Give some examples from your professional and personal life that show you have the right skill set to contribute to the work of Council (max. 150 words)
