With recently confirmed multi-year funding settlements and a newly adopted Local Transport Plan creating an ambitious programme of capital and revenue transport projects across the county, this is an exciting time to join the Transport Planning team. You will support the team in developing and delivering a wide range of transport projects, spanning flagship active travel schemes, major highways infrastructure projects and county-wide public transport interventions.
Your role will involve supporting internal and external partners to deliver our programme of work, gathering evidence to help respond to emerging Local Plans, and liaising with Councillors, stakeholders and the public. You will be a proven team player to support the development of the wider Transport Planning team.
The post will be full time and will be based at County Hall, with flexible working and the potential for a proportion of homeworking during the working week.
