Asset Management... it doesn’t have anything to do with us, it’s done by the asset team, right? Wrong. For many large organisations like Highways England and Network Rail, everything they do is asset management. Over the next year, to tie in with Chair Adrian Hull’s theme for the year, CIHT West Midlands are focussing on asset management with 6 events from some of the industry leaders to dispel some of the myths and take a look at how it’s getting best value in highways and transportation. #whatisit? Our first event is on 22 May with asset management and maintenance experts, IBI Group. We’ll be focussing on Remote Sensing supporting Asset Information Management: information requirements and sensor applicability; current sensors and platforms and what the future may hold.
