Jamie Owen Jamie Owen is one of Wales’ most recognisable broadcasters, best known for his three decades fronting BBC Wales Today. Over the years, he has reported extensively on major transport stories – from infrastructure projects and bridges to rail and aviation developments – giving him a strong familiarity with the sector. He has also made documentaries on the iconic Gilbern sportscars once manufactured in Wales, and on the Heart of Wales railway line – giving him some great personal stories on transport to share with an audience. Beyond broadcasting, Jamie is the author of several acclaimed travel books, including Welsh Journeys, Around Wales by B-Roads and Byways and Around Wales by Roads and Pathways, all of which explore the way people move through Wales’ landscapes and communities. |
