CIHT South East is excited to bring you this talk from Prof. David Shinar, author of the popular book – Traffic Safety and Human Behaviour. 

This presentation will take the audience through crash causes, countermeasures and safety policy.

David Shinar

David is the author of Traffic Safety and Human Behaviour, and Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. 

David's research interests have focused on highway safety, industrial safety and ergonomics. With research projects looking at target detection and cueing in complex visual fields, vehicle aids for maintaining safe headways, alcohol drugs and driving, symbolic highway signs, aggressive driving, fatigue in driving, and medical decision making under conditions of uncertainty and overload.
