The CIHT Annual Conference

The UK’s transport industry sector must be as productive as possible to keep pace with the demands of the 21st century and demonstrate its value to the productivity of the country. We hear a lot about how automation and digital technology is reshaping the world around us; this event will provide real-world examples from innovation pioneers, across the sector to give you an insight into how to improve your productivity and service delivery.

Ginny Clarke CBE, Chair, CIHT Learned Society Board will interview Jesse Norman, Minister of State for Transport for the Conference Interview on the Future of Mobility.

The event will give the latest update on influential work being led by CIHT on Improving Local Highways. This work could reshape the delivery of highway services in England and you will have the opportunity to hear the latest and ask the lead of the review, Matthew Lugg OBE, any questions you have.

A new approach to planning is urgently necessary and the event will give the latest on a major project by CIHT, entitled "Better Planning, Better Transport, Better Places" it seeks to improve the links between planning, transportation and places. The session will be led by Jon Parker, CIHT Sustainable transport panel and Managing Director, Integrated Transport projects.
