• The third and final 5.9km section of the 19.5km dual carriageway £205M Broadland Northway was completed in April.
• The East of England Conference 2018 Transportations Smart Future was held at The Moller Centre, Cambridge University and was attended by CIHT President Matthew Lugg OBE.

• LED Sustainable Smart Street Lighting, Highly Commended.
