CIHT Assessors and Reviewers, assess candidates who want to become professionally qualified.
CIHT offers a number of different routes to professional registration and we need reviewers and assessors to support all of these routes:
CEng, IEng, EngTech Professional Reviewer assess applicants against UK-SPEC for registration. You will already be registered as EngTech, IEng or CEng.
Individual Route Assessor (CEng, IEng) assess applicants who do not meet the standard academic benchmark for CEng or IEng by assessing technical reports, experiential learning portfolios or academic equivalency. This role can be undertaken by all IEng and CEng registrants but is particularly suited to those who are working in academic or who have completed the individual route themselves.
Apprenticeship Assessor assess applicants for the Transport Planning Technician apprenticeship and EngTech. You will be registered as EngTech, IEng or CEng and will also complete training as a Professional Reviewer.
CTPP Professional Reviewer assess applicants against the TPP units. You will be CTPP and a current CIHT or TPS member.
CTPP Senior Route Reviewer assess senior route applicants for CTPP. This is best suited to CTPP registrants who achieved registration through the senior route.
CTPP Portfolio of Technical Knowledge or Technical Report Assessor assess applicants who do not hold an approved MSc in Transport Planning by assessing them against the TPP knowledge requirements.
