The Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route/Balmedie to Tipperty (AWPR/B-T) is a major transport infrastructure project. It will significantly improve travel in and around Aberdeen and the north east of Scotland.
The AWPR/B-T project is being delivered by Transport Scotland, the national transport agency, on behalf of the Scottish Government and in partnership with Aberdeen City Council and Aberdeenshire Council. The new road will be 58km long and is expected to open in autumn 2018.
The event will be held at RGU as an allied professionals’ event for the Northeast of Scotland. We will celebrate delivery of this major achievement and discuss construction challenges and opening phases.
Booking Details: The event is open to members and student members of the allied professional organisations. It is free but must be booked in advance here.
Please use public transport or car share as there is limited parking on site.
Light refreshments provided.
