This is a joint event with ICE East of England
James Palmer, the Mayor of Peterborough and Cambridgeshire, will provide an overview of how the region should be developed and how the infrastructure strategy is and will be implemented.
He will talk about the significant challenges around transport infrastructure, housing and skills which need to be overcome if the area is to ensure its economy continues to thrive. These are very important issues for our work and the wellbeing and will depend on the effective implementation of the infrastructure strategy.
The 2018 CPIER Economic Review evaluated the progress and made key recommendations relating to business, housing, infrastructure, health and wellbeing, education and skills, market town development, and governance. Development of the identified economic areas and successful implementation will depend on mutual cooperation and collaboration.
All transportation professionals interested in hearing more about how the Peterborough and Cambridgeshire infrastructure strategy will be implemented
