Sharing updates on the CIHT Partner-Supported Technical Paper Building carbon reduction into procurement processes.
Representatives from our Partner organisations and CIHT Technical Champions have formed three task and finish groups for 2023. Each group will develop and deliver a technical paper that will positively influence the sector and support the changes the sector needs to take to progress and develop.
This event is aligned to the group which is focussed on:
Building carbon reduction into procurement processes
Delegates will be given an overview and update on how our work is developing to address future proofing of procurement processes so that they can deliver projects that enable the delivery of net zero. The paper includes sections on policy and legislation, contracts and supply chain, whole life carbon costing and the role of leadership, behaviours and culture.
The guest speaker will share some international examples and current projects that address carbon procurement requirements.
This event is open to all employees from our Partner organisations and CIHT members.
