An interactive event to explore how London can go from Best to Better in planning for transport and places.
The recent guidance ‘Better planning, better transport, better places’ by the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation makes a number of recommendations for a more sustainable approach to transport within spatial planning. The report also recognises London as having some of the best examples of doing this in the country.
This interactive event, organised by the London Regional Representatives for the Transport Planning Society, will give you the chance to debate and explore how transport planning in London can build upon this position of strength to do things even better. The themes to be discussed include development plans, future visions, managing new developments, and agile planning.
The event is free to all TPS and CIHT members.
Entrance to 55 Broadway in St. James' Park Station and will be the last chance to visit TfL's iconic building before they vacate the premises.
Refreshments will be served on arrival.
