The Partners Forum is open to all employees of CIHT Partner Organisations. The Forum is designed for a small group of representatives from Partner Organisations to come together to share views and opinion whilst discussing common industry issues and challenges.
To achieve the targets of Net Zero, progress towards it needs to accelerate urgently and it is commonly accepted that ‘business as usual’ is no longer acceptable if we are to successfully deliver different outcomes.
The industry has become more innovative and open to adopting a variety of better sustainable solutions, but what is making the most impact? Where can we get the really ‘big’ wins or is it a case of encouraging development for each of the pieces of the jigsaw that builds the success story of tackling carbon?
The news pages have been busy this year with stories and announcements from organisations on: how technology is being employed for greater and better outcomes, the modifications and developments around materials and alternative fuel, how the use of data and digital technologies are helping to understand mobility behaviours, re-imagining how space can be better ulitlised and the influence planning can have to encourage green travel choices.
Of course the roles of procurement and policy as well as standardisation and reporting can not be overlooked with the influence they have on how well the industry performs.
The Panel will explore some of the successes we have seen during the past year and discuss whether or not priorities for the sector can be identified and what these priorities could potentially be, for accelerating the progress towards Net Zero.
