We hope you will agree that the focus of our navigation and modern design reflects the dynamism of your region. CIHT professionals within the region are engaged in contributing to major infrastructure developments that are important to the regional and national economy.

In 2018 sustainable infrastructure developments in your region include:

• Government commits to upgrading stretches of railway close to the sea through Teignmouth and Dawlish plus introduction of 29 new bi-mode Intercity Express London to Penzance trains and a two train service between Plymouth and Penzance.
• Highways England launched its statutory consultation on proposals for the A303 road tunnel at Stonehenge that will remove the sight and sound of traffic from the ancient monument.

Success in the CIHT Awards 2018

• An Innovative Journey to Asset Management, Dorset County Council, Highly Commended.
• A 303 Stonehenge, Commended.
• A30 Blackhall Farm Habitat Creation, Commended.
