End Point Assessment

CIHT assesses Transport Planning Technician apprentices when they come to the end of their apprenticeship. Successful apprentices can register with the Engineering Council as Engineering Technicians (EngTech).

Free Webcast - CPD and End Point Assessment: An Introduction

10 September 2020, 12:00-13:00

This Lunchtime Webcast, hosted by CIHT and supported by a guest speaker, will cover what to expect during the End Point Assessment (EPA) Process, including CPD and its relationship to EPA.

End Point Assessment (EPA) Interviews

After successfully conducting remote interviews for apprentice End Point Assessments (EPA), CIHT are pleased to announce that we have a functional remote EPA delivery method in place.

Remote EPA interview guidance will be shared with eligible apprentices and their employers prior to their interview

For Apprentices taking part

We recommend that apprentices due to take the EPA familiarise themselves with Microsoft Teams and practice how to share their screens with their line manager (or each other), which they will need to do when talking the interviewers through their presentations.

Apprentices should also use the time leading up to their EPA to review their plans, proposals and presentations.

Further information

All eligible apprentices will shortly be contacted to arrange interview dates, but please feel free to contact John Hall (john.hall@ciht.org.uk) with any queries in the interim.
