CIHT assesses Transport Planning Technician apprentices when they come to the end of their apprenticeship. Successful apprentices can register with the Engineering Council as Engineering Technicians (EngTech).
After successfully conducting remote interviews for apprentice End Point Assessments (EPA), CIHT are pleased to announce that we have a functional remote EPA delivery method in place.
Remote EPA interview guidance will be shared with eligible apprentices and their employers prior to their interview
For Apprentices taking part
We recommend that apprentices due to take the EPA familiarise themselves with Microsoft Teams and practice how to share their screens with their line manager (or each other), which they will need to do when talking the interviewers through their presentations.
Apprentices should also use the time leading up to their EPA to review their plans, proposals and presentations.
All eligible apprentices will shortly be contacted to arrange interview dates, but please feel free to contact John Hall (firstname.lastname@example.org) with any queries in the interim.
Guidance for apprentices, employers, training providers, end-point assessment organisations and external quality assurance providers

With the introduction of urgent government measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and a rapidly developing situation, these guidelines reflect arrangements applied at the current time. This guidance will be kept under active review and updated regularly with further developments.
