We have an opening for a Project Engineer and applications are welcomed from recently qualified graduates or more experienced Civil/Highway Engineers. We would also be interested to hear from Technicians wishing to make the step up to an Engineer-level post.

You will have the opportunity manage the design and construction of a variety of Traffic and Road Safety highway improvement projects along with the opportunity to get involved in accident investigation and prevention work. You will also be assisting other Teams within the Council in offering Traffic and Road Safety advice for new and existing signing and lining schemes and TRO's and TTRO's.
You will ideally be qualified to Degree level or equivalent and have proven experience in the design, management and supervision of Traffic and Road Safety highway improvement schemes and small Highway engineering projects. In addition, knowledge of the process of TRO's and TTRO and the use of AccMAps and AutoCad Base signing and Lining design packages are also ideal
