The Transport Planning team are looking for their next Senior Transport Planning Officer. If you're an experienced transport professional and want to join an ambitious team with a varied workload, this could be the role for you.

It is an exciting time to be joining the team in a senior role – we’ve recently secured a number of high-profile multi-modal grant funding opportunities including Bus Service Improvement Plan, Active Travel Fund and Levelling Up Funds. The team have also recently developed a new Local Transport Plan, building on the recent strategies such as the Exeter Transport Strategy, Bus Service Improvement Plan, Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plans and, crucially, the Devon Carbon Plan. Your role would be to assist with the delivery of our grant programmes and work with our District partners to respond to emerging Local Plans. You will be a proven team player and confident liaising with a range of key stakeholders, including County Councillors and members of the public.

The post will be full time and will be based at County Hall, with flexible working and the potential for a proportion of homeworking during the working week.

For an informal discussion, please contact Hannah Clark (Hannah.clark@devon.gov.uk)
