CIHT North East and Cumbria are delighted to invite members and guests once again to their Awards Dinner in 2022, following the postponed 2020 Dinner.  This year it will be taking place in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Newcastle. The evening will celebrate excellence taking place across the North East and Cumbria region in transportation and is not to be missed.

The Project of the Year Award is to recognise and encourage imaginative research, concepts and excellence within the highways and transportation industry where a marked positive benefit has been achieved in the North East & Cumbria or been produced by people working in the area.  It can relate to design, construction, management, product development or any other facet of the industry and include projects of any size.

Project of the Year ENTRY FORM

• Innovation Project of the Year (sponsored by Wood Group):

The Innovation Project of the Year Award is to recognise and encourage imaginative research, concepts and excellence within the highways and transportation industry where a marked positive benefit has been achieved in the North East & Cumbria or been produced by people working in the area.  It can relate to design, construction, management, product development or any other facet of the industry and include projects of any size.

The Apprentice of the Year Award recognises the efforts of one Apprentice who, in addition to undertaking their duties has proven to be a rising star within the Region. During their time within the industry they consistently go above and beyond their daily duties and make an exceptional contribution to their workplace.

The entry form can be completed by the apprentice or a colleague on their behalf.

• Young Professional of the Year sponsored by WSP:

The Highways and Transport Young Professional of the Year Award recognises the efforts of one keen individual who demonstrates both a passion and genuine commitment to the development of themselves, in addition to others within the highways and transportation industry. They will be within the first 10 years of their careers and will have inspired and helped others in the industry in 2022.
